Here’s How You Can Get A Relaxing Foot Spa At Home!


A foot spa can be an immensely relaxing experience. It allows you to rest your tired feet which bear your weight for the whole day. For this you will need the following items:

  • A tub half filled with warm water
  • Some incense sticks to burn
  • Essential oils of your choice – lavender, chamomile or frankincense work best

  • Nail clippers
  • Cuticle oil
  • Shea butter
  • Socks

To begin with, we should mention that this one is best done before bedtime. Firstly, your feet are the most tired at the end of the day. And putting on your socks and going to sleep means that the foot spa will actually have added benefits for your feet. So – here goes…

Step 1: Start by lighting up an incense stick or two to create a soothing atmosphere.

Step 2: Pick whichever oil you like – or you can use a combination of 2. You will only need 3-4 drops in all.

Step 3: Add the oils to the water in the tub.

Step 4: Dip your feet in the tub and relax for 10 minutes or so.

Step 5: Apply some of the sugar scrub and run gently over both your feet. Do not dry your feet first.

Step 6: Wash with the water afterwards.

Step 7: Now dry your feet with the towel.

Step 8: Now use the nail clipper to trim your nails. If need be you can also use a nail file.

Step 9: Apply the cuticle oil to your toe nails and rub in.

Step 10: Next apply the shea butter to the rest of your feet and massage till it is absorbed.

Step 11: Finally, put on your socks and just relax or go to bed. The socks will keep the warmth in, and make sure that the shea butter does its job of moisturizing your feet well!
