The dry heat is a lot more beneficial in warming the muscles and relieving sore and stressed muscles.

While it makes no particular difference to people with respiratory conditions, those people who have active tuberculosis or acute rheumatoid arthritis should go for the sauna. The steam shower isn’t good for them.
